About the Café
Located in Áshús, this cozy café offers visitors a chance to enjoy homemade refreshments in a setting that evokes the atmosphere of the past.
The menu features traditional homemade treats, similar to those once served by housewives in the 20th century. The air is filled with the scent of freshly baked pastries, coffee, and hot chocolate, and lunch options are also available.
The café is situated within the museum, surrounded by exhibitions that create a warm and inviting ambiance. In many ways, the café itself feels like part of the exhibition, as its décor reflects the style of 20th-century parlors.
If you’re craving some old-fashioned delicacies, be sure to stop by!
