In 2021 and 2022, the Skagafjörður Heritage Museum conducted a survey of standing turf houses in Skagafjörður, with support from the Cultural Heritage Agency of Iceland. A total of 59 turf houses were recorded. This exhibition presents the buildings and findings from the survey through text and photographs.
